Pizza sauce recipe
Here is a recipe for homemade pizza sauce that should be enough for a pizza that serves 4 people:
Ingredients:
1 (14.5 oz) can of diced tomatoes
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 teaspoon of dried basil
1 teaspoon of dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
Instructions:
In a small saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Add the diced tomatoes, basil, oregano, salt, and black pepper to the saucepan. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Use an immersion blender or a regular blender to puree the sauce until it is smooth. If you prefer a chunkier sauce, you can skip this step.
Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning as needed.
Use the sauce on your pizza, or store it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions
