Today we learn how to make banana bread at home:
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 2-3 bananas)

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
Stir in the mashed bananas.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre of the loaf comes out clean.
Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
